药理作用
本品为吡拉西坦的类似物，可改善老年性痴呆和记忆障碍症患者的记忆和学习功能。机理研究结果提示，本品可促进磷酰胆碱和磷酰乙醇胺合成，提高大脑中ATP/ADP的比值，使大脑中蛋白质和核酸的合成增加。
适应症
适用轻中度血管性痴呆、老年性痴呆以及脑外伤等症引起的记忆与智能障碍。
用法用量
静脉滴注，每次4.0g，每日一次，可酌情增减用量，用前加入到100～250ml 5%葡萄糖注射液或0.9%氯化钠注射液中，摇匀。对神经功能缺失的治疗通常疗程为2周，对记忆与智能障碍的治疗通常疗程为3周。
不良反应
据国外文献报道，奥拉西坦的不良反应少见，偶见皮肤瘙痒、恶心、精神兴奋、头晕、头痛、睡眠紊乱，但症状较轻，停药后可自行恢复。
禁忌
对本品过敏者、严重肾功能损害者禁用

1) Patients with hypersensitivity to this drug

3) Pregnancy

In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may cause mild excitement, sleep disturbances, and feelings of helplessness.
